New Kicks

Growing boys constantly need new shoes. So because of that and the changing season, we went to the mall to get some new shoes for the boy. I had my heart set on some Stride Rite shoes, but the nice salesperson suggested other shoes for him. Among these suggestions were DC Shoes, Pumas, and another brand I've never heard of. So we tried them all, and Booger really liked the DCs. Then I saw the Chuck Taylors. We ended up with two pairs, but it's all good - the Chuck Taylors were size 6, and Converse sizes their kid shoes larger, so he has time to grow into them.

Lovebug Update

The lovebug is now three months old. He has been sleeping through the night for about a month now. The trick is to bathe him, then feed him one extra ounce right before we go to bed. We have pretty much settled into our routine, and believe it or not, routines work.

He has also taken up "talking" recently. I know that I will definitely miss our little chats once he learns real words. The other day, I put him on his belly for tummy time and he turned onto his back. We did this several times. So long story short, he is moving along nicely.

Craft Time

The bunny recently promoted to the next Sunday School class. I figured it would just be another room where he could hang out, socialize with other kids his age and have a little fun in the meantime. I was pleasantly surprised when I saw that he had made a craft project! Granted, it was one sticker on a paper plate, but it was his work nonetheless. What surprised me even more was how moved I was that he did it.
